Abstract :
In this paper, according to the principle of least squares algorithm, we design an predictive controller which can online identify the parameters of the system model and at the same time, it uses the error which generated in the process of parameter identification to modify the future output. And then, based on Siemens S7-200 PLC, we use the predictive controller to identify the model of a J-type heater and control its temperature in online fashion. Experimental result shows that the designed predictive controller can effectively control the temperature of controlled plant to be stable at a certain value, and it has a good real-time and accuracy.
