Abstract :
In this paper, a novel planar compact multiresonator broadband microstrip antenna was proposed, which includes two slots loading on two rectangular microstrip resonators as the compact units, respectively. The center frequency of the microstrip antenna operates at 2.4 GHz and it has about 5% bandwidth with VSWR<2. Compared to the conventional planar two resonators microstrip antenna, it has the similar impedance bandwidth, but the size reduction is more than 10%. Numerical simulation results demonstrated all above.
