Abstract :
TEAM-UP is a partnership program of the US electric utility industry and the US DOE to accelerate commercialization of PV systems for electric utilities and their customers. There are three major initiative areas in the TEAM-UP program: (1) grid-connected applications (GCA), an initiative to cost-share ventures for grid-connected PV systems with high market growth potential; (2) the grid-independent applications (GIA), an initiative to support cost-share ventures to aggregate customer needs and market development; and (3) communication and outreach activities. This paper describes these efforts, outlines the current status, and presents current results and lessons learned from the TEAM-UP program and the communication and outreach activities of the program
