Abstract :
The method gives a solution for the passband deviation problems associated with the conventional synthesis method. The passband correction factors are derived from the actual insertion losses of a predesigned filter at the band-edge frequencies. The validity of the method was confirmed by computer simulations and experimental measurements of the filters designed by this method.<>
