Abstract :
Landslide is one of the geological hazards. It is worldwide, and it makes great impact and destruction on the people´s lives and property. The landslide forecasting is a difficult problem all the time. But the rise and development of the remote sensing make the accurate landslide forecasting possible. The paper is about the application of the remote sensing in the landslide forecasting. First of all, the paper briefly introduces the characteristics and development of the remote sensing technology, then illustrates the application of the remote sensing in the landslide forecasting, analyzes the problem in the application. Finally, the paper looks to the application of the combine of remote sensing with other technologies in the Landslide forecasting.
