Abstract :
A portable antenna parameter analyzer system has been developed. The system can diagnose the fault of an antenna system, such as problematic cables, connectors, and antennas. The signals to be measured are transformed into discrete signals by synchronous sampling and then analog-to-digital conversion. These digital signals are then processed by a digital signal processor for vector detection. Using the synchronous sampling technique and high performance DSP, digitalized IF signal processing avoids the various range errors and detector circularity errors. The system is developed to measure the antenna parameters working from 1 MHz to 400 MHz.
