Abstract :
Quasi-static analysis of the shielded microstrip line is performed with Finite Difference Method (FDM), and related potential and electromagnetic field distributions are obtained. Transmission characteristics are computed through the potential distribution and compared with the ones calculated by the approximate explicit expressions. The accuracy of finite difference analysis is discussed.
