Abstract
The mobile graphics technology as underlying support technology is widely used in numerous 3D applications such as mobile 3D game, 3D graphical user interface and 3D map. Due to the characteristics of mobile devices, much early 3D graphics processing is done by the CPU, which takes up a lot of CPU resources and the quality of graphics rendering is rough. Although in recent years graphics accelerator for mobile devices has launched not expensive, the rendering quality needs to be improved. This paper describes the development situation of mobile GPU, using FPGA development platform to design and test mobile GPUs based on fixed pipeline. Experimental results show that pixels rate will reach to 90M/S when the system clock is at 100Mhz.
