Abstract
The rapid development of technology has enabled people to work socially across networks. However, results from a survey conducted in Henan province indicated that Chinese College English teachers have little knowledge of or experience with social computing tools. From 2006-2007, first as a visiting scholar, then a course assistant at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, one of the authors of this paper studied a Master of Education Subject: Technology and Second Language Learning, which focused on teachers´ acceptance of change in the form of integration of technology firstly into their learning and secondly their teaching, and found it providing possible reflections for Chinese College English teachers´ computer education.
