Teaching reform on information theory and coding

Information Theory and Coding Theory is one important course of Information Engineering, by analyzing the problems in the teaching for the students of specialty on Information Science, and incorporating the reform project of “Research of cultivating practical and innovation ability” in our school, this paper reforms and explores the teaching content, experiment teaching and teaching methods, aiming at cultivating and improving the thinking ability and practical ability of students. Also, this paper proposes the practical implementation program, and gains good results.
