Abstract :
This paper presents, an enhanced channel estimation for Spatial Multiplexing (SM) Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. Initial estimate of the channel is obtained using pilot assisted Least Square (LS) channel estimation using frequency domain approach. Recovered symbols are used to further enhance the channel estimate through time domain approach. The performance of the proposed estimator is demonstrated using computer simulations which are carried out under different channel conditions.
