Abstract :
A wireless modem Netgear WNDA4100 Un 3×3 WiFi adapter had been tested in a typical office building at ranges of 20-30 meters. Three types of antennas were compared. The best antenna was a three port antenna with dual polarizations at 5.8 GHz and mixed polarization at 2.4 GHz, This antenna enables to enlarge the data capacity by a factor of 2 to 6 and enlarge the received signal by a factor of up to 10 dB.
