Abstract :
Based on principal component analysis theory, this paper has evaluated the water quality in Ge Lake by using the characteristics of principal component analysis-the integrated treatment of dimensionality reduction. The results show that the water quality in Ge Lake has been at or inferior to the IV class, Ge Lake water body has in general reached the later period of moderate eutrophication. The main pollution indicators are permanganate index, mercury, fluoride, ammonia, total nitrogen and total phosphorus, Industrial pollution and domestic sewage discharge are the main pollution sources. Nitrogen and phosphorus are the major factor that caused the deterioration of water quality and eutrophication. Ge Lake has basically changed from a grass-type lake to an algae-type lake.
