Abstract :
The authors introduce the class of functions f:G n→G, where G is an Abelian group, which exhibit a flat Chrestenson spectrum. A spectrum is flat if all its spectral components have the same magnitude. Properties of these functions are studied, they are characterized in the original domain, and aspects of the decomposability of such functions relevant to optimal hardware realizations are shown
