Abstract

This paper presents application software named NeighborNote which extends Evernote to include the capability of suggesting related notes based on the user operation history. NeighborNote calculates the relativeness between the notes based on the idea that the notes, which the user opened at the same time or copied & pasted across, may be related to one another. NeighborNote helps users find related notes by showing other notes associated with the currently open note. We have publicly released this application software as a derivative service of Evernote and are getting feedback from its users.
