Abstract :
This paper proposes a new type of technique for data-hiding on texture images. A regularly arranged dotted-pattern is first painted with colors chosen from a texture sample for having features corresponding to hidden data. Our texture synthesis then camouflages the dotted-pattern using the same texture sample while preserving a quality comparable to that of the existing syntheses. Such textured code can be used for hiding data on real texture objects, and can be robustly detected from the image photographed from print media, in a way to that similar of 2D bar codes.
