Abstract :
The wet type (Paper-based) friction materials is a mixture of many materials. Its wearing property is closely related with the dispersion of the materials. The influence of original paper formation and the resin impregnation uniformity on the wear of the wet type (paper-based) friction materials were studied. The results indicated that the material formulation significantly changed the formation of the original paper, and the improvement of the original paper formation prompt the uniformity of the resin impregnation. In addition, with the improvement of the materials dispersion, the wearing degree of the wet type (paper-based) friction materials and its dual materials reduced.
