Abstract :
CSTN LCD panel is widely used in mobile handset and consumer device, but its limited color levels become an important problem. The frame rate control is designed to improve the colors of CSTN LCD panel, however, this method cause serious flicker problem. This paper proposed a new control method to reduce the flicker problem and also increase the color levels of CSTN LCD panel.
