Development of an instrument to visualize RF coverage footprints of mobile adhoc wireless network

A PC based visualization tool is proposed to visualize and track if coverage footprints of mobile ad hoc wireless network. Tire proposed tool is based on GPS, RF prediction software, a radio and a laptop PC. The outcome is a PC based GIS tool that can be used in emergency rescue operations, where workers could form a more efficient mobile ad hoc wireless network, in which each node could visualize one another´s if coverage footprints and avoid outage. Details will be presented in the final manuscript.
