Abstract
A brief review and generalization of results of experimental investigation of processes determining insulation rupture in crossed field devices are proposed. Original experimental methods are described. Data about space charge distribution and oscillations, and about movement of electron flows are presented. Also reported is the influence of secondary emission and nonuniform fields on the processes in space charge
