Abstract :
This paper proposed a ZCS current-fed half-bridge converter with asymmetrical PWM operation. ZCS is achieved for main switches and rectifier diodes are softly commutation at ZVS only by leakage inductance of the transformer and resonant capacitor. Operation principle and characteristics of the converter are analyzed and verified by a 48 V/360 V, 50 KHz, 1000 W prototype converter.
