Abstract :
Hydrogen induced cracking is one of the main failure mode of welded joints of submarine pipeline. In order to master the HIC behaviors of X56 and X65 pipeline steel, NACE TM 0284 standard experiment method is applied to research the typical welded joints of submarine pipeline. Based on the parameters analysis of crack length ratio, crack thickness ratio and crack sensitivity ratio, the HIC resistance behaviors of typical welded joints of submarine pipeline is evaluated, which provided an important reference for practical application of pipeline steel and engineering design of welding process.
