Abstract :
This paper analyses the functionality of mm-size inkjet printed gold loop antennas suitable for the wireless powering of miniature cortical implants in wireless Brain-Machine Interface systems. This research shows the capability of mm-size gold implant antennas to receive enough electromagnetic power to activate a UHF RFID chip connected to it.
