Abstract :
In this paper, a 12-bit pipelined ADC with power optimized strategy for ultrasonic imaging instruments is newly proposed. The proposed pipelined data converter is attractive due to that the requirements of ultrasonic imaging instruments are successfully matched. Based upon the device parameters of 0.13 μm 1P8M CMOS technology with 3.0 V power supply, all the functions and performance of the proposed pipelined data converter for ultrasonic imaging instruments are successfully tested and proven through measurements. The proposed pipelined data converter is suitable for ultrasonic imaging instruments.
