Abstract
This study is concerned with the effects of a cold pretreatment and the concentration of silver nitrate (AgNO3) on the induction of embryo from anthers of four cabbage F1 hybirds. The results indicated that a cold pretreatment and silvernitrate influenced the induction of embryo. A pretreatment of 3d at 4°C before the culture period and 10mg/L in the medium have the best effect in the induction of embryo from four Chinese cabbage F1 hybrids.
