  • Abstract
    Mobile agent technology has several used in distributed system applications. Unfortunately, this technology is not full utilized for security problems. One of these problems is a mobile agent protection against malicious hosts. This paper deals with this problem to protect the using of this technology in heterogonous database systems. SMAG (secure mobile agent generator) is a new mobile agent system. It uses cryptography mechanisms to protect agents. The agent is partitioned into groups. Each group is encrypted by a different secret key. So, a service provider can deal only with group if it has a copy of the secret key. SMAG generates an secure agent according to a user´s specification. Through the agent, the user can manipulate with any type of database. By using C# language and Dot Net framework, SMAG system has been implemented. To demonstrate the system, a scenario is given
