Abstract
Higher-order method of moments (MoM) of volume integral equations (MoM-VIEs) for the analysis of electromagnetic scattering from arbitrary shaped inhomogeneous dielectric objects is presented. The expressions of a newly type of higher-order hierarchical divergence-conforming vector basis functions [3] up to the second order are presented and we analyze the time consumption and memory requirements compared to these different order vector basis functions. Numerical results are given to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the new higher-order MoM-VIEs method.
