  • Abstract
Proteins have very important role in cellular processes. Proteins doesn´t work alone, rather they interact together to perform various cellular events. Protein protein interaction means physical contact between two or more proteins as a result of certain biochemical events. There are several examples for protein interactions. Cell transduction, cell metabolism, muscle contraction are some of them. Identifying protein protein interaction have a great significance among research community since it throws light into the function of unknown proteins and have important role in designing drugs effectively for various diseases. It is well known that similar disease phenotypes are caused by interacting proteins. In the present work, we propose a method to predict protein protein interactions by considering similar disease phenotypes.
