Abstract :
Single and multicarrier digital modulations have been widely adopted for broadband wireless local and metropolitan networks and long term evolution (LTE) systems. This paper presents a second-order cyclostationarity-based algorithm for the recognition of single and multicarrier digital modulations. The applicability of this method is confirmed using waveforms generated and acquired by laboratory instrumentation and off-the-air signals, as well as computer simulation experiments.
