Abstract :
This thesis introduces a fault identifying method of automobile engine electronic control system based on principal component analysis. Aiming at the electronic control system of present-day engine and making use of the data stream of engine self- diagnosis system, the history data are getting together that reflects well-balanced circulating of engine. The principal component model is made via analyzing the data. After comparing statistic with its limitative value of theory, the fault state can be identified. This paper has proved the validity of the solution through some fault diagnosis examples of several kinds of air flow sensor. A new fault identifying method is put forward for automobile engine electronic control system.
