Abstract
Existing analog video broadcasting transmission systems are very sensitive to interference from other analog video signals and require high co-channel protection ratio. Terrestrial digital video broadcast systems are significantly less sensitive to noise and interference. DVB-T systems with digital COFDM modulation, multicarrier techniques and channel coding system ensure frequency spectrum efficiency and ruggedness against noise and distortion. In this paper it will be analyzed terrestrial digital video broadcast network planning which is based on the planning project that corresponds with ITU´s Regional Radiocommunication Conference (RRC-06) from June 2006 and Geneva (GE-06) frequency plan.
