Abstract :
The characteristics and advantages of direct coupled filers are considered in this paper. After removing the two resonators from the filter structure, the characteristics of such a filter are similar to single terminated filter. These filters can be connected in series. Using 90° phase shifters is equivalent to the connection in series of two two-ports. Experimental results of a diplexer covering the frequency band (0.5-1.5) GHz are presented
