Abstract
A planar Continuous Transverse Stub (CTS) array is proposed in this paper. The technology of Multi-step impedance matching is utilized, which improve the antenna operating frequency bandwidth. Being different from the conventional forms, the structure of feed network consists of E-plane bends, E-plane tees and multi-stage steps. Properties of this form antenna are obtained by the HFSS. The results show that, the values of Su are all less than -15dB over the 7.2GHz to 8.4GHz and 11.5GHz to 13GHz, and the gain at 8GHz and 12GHz are 33.2dB, 35.2dB respectively.
