  • Abstract
Distributed multi-view video coding (DMVC) has become a focus due to the prosperity of the multimedia applications in wireless sensor networks. We propose a novel method of an adaptive scheme, named side-information-adaptive Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) coding. Apart from the existing multiple side-information implications in DMVC, this paper is dedicated to not only utilizing LDPC to produce the syndromes to realize DMVC, but exploiting preferable side-information search scheme for decoding scheme between the temporal and the inter-view correlation in DMVC. Simulation results illustrate the significant improvements of the proposed scheme with high motion in DMVC for high motion video.
