Abstract :
We investigate that the equivalent Kerr self-phase-modulation (SPM) and cross-phase-modulation (XPM) effects introduced in cascaded second-order processes is dependent on the phase mismatch and group velocity mismatch. Adiabatic compression of quadratic solitons and frequency shift is reported.
