  • Abstract
    Nonlinear optical interaction in a nonlinear Kerr photonic crystal is considered theoretically. We find field enhancement at some wavelengths where the transmission ratio exceeds one. Then we explain some interesting phenomena on optical switching observed in our previous experiments.
