Abstract
A novel design of rectangular array feed reflector antenna is proposed for spatial power combining. In the new design, the feed is a rectangular array, which radiates an astigmatism wave. The novel reflector is designed based on the curvature matrix theory. The phases of the array elements are set to simulate the distribution of the wave front of the astigmatism wave. The beam deviation factor is used to determine the direction of the reflected wave from the reflector. Simulation shows that the antenna can combine the microwave power in the desired direction efficiently.
