Abstract
Personal communication systems on the basis of low orbital satellites is a quickly developing telecommunication field. One may forecast that low orbital personal satellite communication systems (LOPSCS) together with computer technology as two closely connected key elements will benefit. However the noise immunity level in the LOPSCS depends not only on the applied signal structure but also on the optimal level of the channels to process them (receivers and particularly relays). Therefore we shall focus on comparison of the two main types of relays: transparent relays and relays with onboard signal processing
