Abstract :
A prototype silicon on insulator (SOI) sensor has been developed for the study of polarized hard X-ray emissions. A 4 times 4 sensor cell and basic circuitry have been designed using a novel SOI process. A prototype board and a user interface have also been developed in order to control and bias the sensor.
