Abstract :
Based on the digital phase ramp feedback technique and advanced digital signal processing techniques, the digital detection system for closed-loop FOG is developed with digital signal processor (DSP) and field programmable gate array (FPGA). The dynamic model and the simplified linear discrete model of the detection system are established. Digital control algorithm in the closed-loop control is analyzed, and the dynamic simulation result is presented. To restrain the random noise in the real-time system, a novel wavelet-based FIR filter is presented on the basis of the orthogonal wavelet decomposition and reconstruction algorithm. The test results show that a significant improvement has been attained in the performance of FOG.
