  • Abstract
    The anchor support design is important for the design of underground engineering. The process of optimizing the anchor support design is analyzed, the finite element method is applied to it. The anchor support system is developed including fore - process, post - process, calculation of the structure and drawing by computer in order to make the designing of anchor support system more quickly, more economical and convenient. It has been applied in practice of the hydropower plant with a good result. Also, an example about a large scale hydropower plant is provided.
