A new method of color image mosaic

According to the localization of template choice during color image matching, an improved image mosaic method is proposed in this paper. Based on the result of edge detection, the method choose an effective character template automatically from one image, and then search a best matching point in another image, so as to realize matching calculation between the two color image, finally, merging two overlapped image by using smooth method and to realize the fast and automatic mosaic . The experiment results show that the algorithm improve the matching accuracy of images, and have a good effect on mosaic to the most color images.
