  • Abstract
Structural irregularities have a major impact on the protective properties of conductive screens. This paper addresses the methods for simulating the penetration of electric fields inside real 3-dimensional structurally irregular electromagnetic screens in quasi-statics. The author aims to find the reference method for the future theoretical as well as experimental studies on real conductive screens. Simulating an infinite thin conductive plate with a circular orifice provides both qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the selected numerical method.
