Abstract :
The solid solution of [(1-x)(Na0.5K0.5NbO3)-x(LiTaO3)]0.98-(BiScO3)0.02 lead free system has been investigated, where x=0-0.06. Changes in phase content, dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties are reported. Broad Curie peaks are discussed in terms of compositional inhomogeneity. The optimal piezoelectric charge coefficient is 214 pC/N when x=0.02.
