Abstract
Wang and Chen hyperchaotic systems are newly proposed continuous four-dimensional chaotic systems. According to these hyperchaotic systems, an improved generalized projected synchronization method is proposed in this paper. The stability conditions for error systems are analyzed by using stability theory of linear systems. Compared with previous chaotic synchronization methods, the improved generalized projected synchronization controllers have changeable parameters, so that synchronization speed and formats can be freely setup for different application situations. Also this method can be used to synchronize two chaotic systems with the same structures. Satisfied simulation results show that the controllers can generalized synchronize two hyperchaotic systems in several different synchronization formats, moreover the dynamic process has small error values.
