Abstract :
In this study, we measured phase-resolved partial discharge (PD) patterns and PD current shapes from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) specimens with IGI (insulator/air gap/insulator) structure. The relationship between the changes in PD pattern and current shape was investigated. The effects of void size on PD patterns and PD current shapes were also discussed
