Abstract :
The chemical composition of fresh Cinnamomum camphora were separated and analyzed by GC/MS. It was determined that 17 relative content by area normalization. 17 compounds of the extractives were identified. The main and abundant constituents were Eucalyptol, 3-Cyclohexen-1-ol,bicyclo[3.1.0]hexane, 4-methylene, beta.-Pinene, 3-Cyclohexen-1-ol, 4-methyl-1-(1-methylethyl), 1,3-Cyclohexadiene, 1-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl), 2-Cyclohexen-1-ol, 1-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl)-,3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol,.alpha.,.alpha.4-trimethyl, propanoate, Caryophyllene, alpha.-Caryophyllene, Naphthalene, 2,3,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydro-1,8a-dimethyl-7, Phytol, Tetratetracontane, Oxirane, hexadecyl, and so on. The most components of benzene/ethanol extractives of fresh Cinnamomum camphora are not only abundant and healthy to human, but used as anti-fungal.
