Abstract :
A new diagnostic method, trend analysis method (TA Method) is discussed in this paper. By using this method, the dynamic change of on-line monitoring results will be analyzed, and the regularities of their variation can be found also. Then the insulation condition of equipment can be finally determined and the defects can be detected. Therefore, Condition Based Maintenance of power equipment will be realized. With this method, time series analysis is used to diagnose the measured results from time to time and from phase to phase, etc. And the insulation condition of equipment can be evaluated more scientifically and accurately
