Abstract :
For the complex industry, this paper proposes a flexible predictive control method based on the expert system, using the expert experience to change the structure and parameters of a predictive controller. Detailed procedures are provided to implement this new control method, based on which the main fractionation top temperature control of FCCU was taken as an example to conduct the simulations. The results confirmed that the flexible predictive controller is feasible and better to meet industry demands. It is concluded that the new controller is better and will profit the complex industry real-time control.
