Abstract :
In this paper, a novel quasi-parallel resonant DC-link inverter is presented. This circuit has only one auxiliary switch which is turned on under zero current condition and is turned off under zero voltage condition. Also, to achieve soft switching for the inverter main switches, no DC link voltage sensor is required. These properties simplify the control circuit greatly. The proposed converter is analyzed and its operating modes are explained in details. Design considerations and simulation results of the proposed inverter are presented.
